This policy explains how Crofts Hill Holdings LLC (d/b/a StratumCXI) uses cookies and similar technologies (including local storage) on our websites and products. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Current posture: we do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on the marketing site. We do not show a cookie consent banner while only strictly necessary technologies (and optional first-party product storage disclosed below) are in use. If we add non-essential marketing or analytics tags, we will update this page and introduce an appropriate consent mechanism where required.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage, which web apps use to keep identifiers or preferences in the browser. Browser extensions may use extension storage APIs instead of website cookies.
2. stratumcxi.com (marketing site)
The marketing site is designed to operate without advertising cookies. Hosting and delivery infrastructure (for example Vercel / CDN) may set strictly necessary cookies or equivalent technical signals required for security, load balancing, or basic site function.
Capture Core self-use beacon (optional): when enabled via environment configuration, our first-party Capture Core SDK may load on the marketing site and store an anonymous identifier and session data in localStorage / sessionStorage (not third-party cookies) so we can operate StrataIQ on our own properties. That storage is first-party product telemetry under our control, described in the Privacy Policy and DPA. It is not sold for advertising.
3. app.stratumcxi.com (StrataIQ dashboard)
The dashboard uses a strictly necessary authentication cookie:
strataiq_session— httpOnly session cookie so you stay signed in securely. Required for the service to function. Not used for advertising.
4. StrataIQ Lens (browser extension)
Lens does not set cookies on websites you visit for advertising. Preferences, scan progress, and report data are stored via Chrome extension storage on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers until you opt in to email delivery of a report (see Privacy Policy).
5. Capture Core SDK on customer sites
When a customer installs Capture Core on their own property, the SDK may use browser storage (typically localStorage / sessionStorage) for anonymous and session identifiers. The customer is the controller of that processing; our Data Processing Addendum applies between us and the customer. Customers are responsible for notices and consent on their sites as required by law.
6. Stripe Checkout and Customer Portal
Paid checkout and billing portal pages may be hosted by Stripe and use cookies necessary for payment security and fraud prevention under Stripe's policies. We do not control Stripe's cookies on stripe.com-hosted surfaces.
7. How to control cookies and storage
You can delete or block cookies and clear site storage in your browser settings. Blocking the dashboard session cookie will prevent sign-in. Clearing storage on a site that runs Capture Core will reset anonymous/session identifiers for that site.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when our technologies change. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material introduction of non-essential tracking will be reflected here and, where required, in a consent banner.
